Control

       Hi blog-o-sphere, many of you don't know me, some of you may read some things from time to time and maybe more of you will in the future. I just wanted to write a quick blurb about something everyone of us must deal with everyday, we take it, we give it away, it slips away from us but it's always there for you to grab if you are smart enough to seize it...... control. There is not many things we can control in this world, I can't control you, or the economy, my favorite sports teams ( Chicago teams except the White Sox ), I can't control deaths or births or people making bad decisions, hell the realization is we can't control many things we face everyday..... Except for this, the way we react to things..... the way we feel about things.....the way we accept things.....or let them go. In truth the only thing we can control every single minute of every single day is our perspective on the events around us. Because lets face it whether we are pissed or happy about the way the world or even our lives our they are still going to be there. You can't always control your life in the way in can bounce from the high of highs to the lowest of lows but we can control how we feel about the high and the lows. It's that very acceptance that so few of us realize we have control of, and once you do see it for yourself you can finally start to allow it flow the way it is supposed to, because lets face it the river of life is always going to be moving in directions and at speeds we can't dictate but we can always decide if the flow is right for us to jump in for a swim just accept that once you do you can always be swept away by the current, but if you watch for the signs you can tell when it's most safe.
