More we change the more we blah blah blah

WOW folks, over 6 BILLION dollars spent on campaigning for political offices across the board and what did it buy us? The exact same divisive, uncompromising and dysfunctional House of Reps and Senate, arguably we have ever had in our history which is fitting I guess, to go along with our, arguably most polarizing and divisive President our nation has ever had. You would think that after 6 Billion spent that there would be some light at the end of the dark gloomy tunnel our country has been wandering aimlessly in for over a decade now. I'm not saying a change in Congress would guarantee positive results. However, can anybody truly say that for 6 Billion dollars we are ready to endure 4 more years of this same dour government that has very little aim, other than to prove to either side that theirs is the correct form of democracy. I'm not sure I can recall a time when our country (which despite all the issues is still a great nation) was more divided (save the Civil War period) and content with mediocrity than it is right now. If we want a change in our world it is clear now it has to start at the personal level. So I beg you, before you let the results of this political season really set in, look around and see how you can help your friends, or even strangers around you. It's only by reconnecting as a populace that we will ever show we are ready for any real form of change. Peace my friends, FB or otherwise.

Guilty and we are taking his titles and banning him for life.......This is sick peeps, and wrong and a lesson that we can start a rumor no matter the lack of evidence and burn someone at the stake. Hey everyone, I have an idea. I want to try a Barter experiment with everyone. Here's what I suggest. Everyone who wants to do this adds a comment with 5 things/items you no longer want or would be willing to trade. Then basically we make trades with each other to see who can come up with the coolest stuff. The more people we bring in the better stuff we can trade for. The only rule NO MONEY CAN CHANGE HANDS. Lets see if we can make the barter system work. Here is my 5 things.

Having a bad day

Man what a crap ass day. My Mom got rushed to the hospital the other day with congestive heart failure 2 days ago and now I can't get a hold of any members of my family and no one is updating me, they did the same thing when my grandfather dies, I didn't find out for 2 weeks so I'm in full freak out mode. Now our car is broken and we have to figure that situation out and now just for fun, the fridge is busted and all the food we just bought is ruined. Bad Bad day my friends.

WOW almost 5 days and I've slept maybe 6 hours total. Had an Iraq nightmare and woke up screaming, haven't been able to close my eyes since. I'm hoping to load myself up on coffee until I just fade out. I'm trying not to allow this to screw with my performance on either of the podcasts I'm doing because I am enjoying them so much but it's starting to take a toll on me.....starting to see stuff. But I can't lay down.

What the hell happened to me.

Well I guess it's time to explain what happened to me why I disappeared. I wish I could say I am some sort of spy or that I had some success but I didn't. I just got hurt again and had some confidence issues in my writing after some issues with my book. I'm sorry specifically to Liz for just vanishing, I consider you a friend and you just don't vanish with no explanation to a friend even digital ones, so for that I'm sorry. But I am back now and with a podcast, so hopefully it will be the last time I just ...... poof off the face of the blogverse.
